i have a car with no car title ! what to do ?
a while back i bought a honda with no car title from a buddy , the cars record is clean not stolen. but i tried to get the title through the dmv but they said i need the previous owner . neither me or my buddy know who the owner is . he bought the car from some guy and no one ever registered the car . any one know what i can do ? the car is in perfect condition, with less than 70k miles with lots of mods.

I have the same problem, I have a 91 STD hatch that was never registered in Florida. The DMV said I had to go to the police, to see if it was ever reported stolen, If not I had to fill a form, and either take it to a lawyer or a notary, to stamped it or something, declaring that I bought the car and blah blah. I have not done anything yet. I don't really want it, but mine doesn't run and needs new fenders and hood. I need to sell that bitch.

That's what they told me, Where are you? States might have different laws. The only bad thing is that if they find it was stolen somewhere you might loose the car. It was only $100, but you might get more if you part it out. If you are 100% sure it wasn't stolen I would go to the pig station, or maybe call them first explain the problem, maybe they tell you what to do over the phone.

not a 100% but online records (car max) shows clean record the cool thing is that i have the same car only 2 years newer so the parts fit my car also i might just put all the mods on mine and the sell the stock on egay
