damn i hate those sellers, i have boght lots of stuff off there and have only been screwed a few times. once by a guy with over 10,000 positives he just up and left and fucked a bunch of ppl. most of the time you get a good deal tho.

for the most part ebay is the safest way if you do it right. fewer people get screwed than not, but it always sucks when you're the one that gets the screwing. i like the paypal thing with ccd. at least you can always charge it back if necessary or escrow. i try to stay away from moneyorder and feedback issues. when i sell i let them pay by paypal or moneyorder...whatever they are most comfortable with because i know i'll follow through and ship out the goods. i just stay away from the deals that are too good to be true if i can't paypal. not worth the risk.

Sadly, I used paypal (with my credit card). However, paypal does not protect against misrepresentation of product, only non-delivery. However, Ebay's gonna crucify them :-)

paypal may not, but your credit card may. most have a protection in it for non performance of product/misrepresentation. contact your credit card company and talk to them about it. you may have to send a letter to the seller and send the product back and produce documentation showing this (ie: certified letter and shipping receipts).

One time my credit card number got into the wrong hands over the internet and I got charged for like 3 different **** subscriptions. This wouldn't have been so bad if I actually had the passwords so at least I could se them I called my credit card company and they said I had to write them a letter and send it to this other address and tell them exactly what happened. I sent the letter and about a week later they removed the charges, but they didn't completely remove them. They were just put on hold. I got a new account number and thought it was all over with. About 2 months later they recharged me for them. I guess I wasn't covered for the theft of my credit card numbers. I don't think crtedit cards are as safe as everybody thinks. It is the biggest hassle in the world trying to get a credit card company to refund your money.

That little fucktard hasn't even left any feedback about anybody yet. That pisses me off. It doesn't look like he will be leaving you unfair negative feedback. He is probably some 15 year old punk with his moms credit card and decided to get rid of some junk parts on ebay for some candy money. I would call his house like crazy untill you get ahold of someone. I'm sure he lives with his parents and I don't think they would be happy about the little bastard ripping people off.
