just got a 2000 civic si theft recovery with a salvage title for 1000 car needed a front end , motor and trans easy fix. got the car delivered to my house start gutting it to see if the fuel pump was still there and when i took of the rear seat i looked at the vin and its ------- different from the one on the dash , so i look at the one in
the engine bay and it matches the one on the dash but its a different color black than the rest of the car so yeah most likely the cars ------- stolen..... so i ran the title and its for a ex civic but says si on it so any suggestions on what i should do besides beat the ---- outta this guy let me know!

finish it up and go through state patrol.. as an si.. then sell it.. its probably been wrecked a few times thats why its like that.

go to the cops before the other guy does. get the report in case you have to go to court to get your money back.

Rip all the good parts off of it, sell them, cut up the car and dispose of it piece by piece in the trash over a period of time

find the guy, kill him, strip the car of valuable parts, sell those parts, chop the car and the guy into small pieces and throw them out in several different trash cans so nobody notices.
