all I meant was that crome and uberdata both have a bit of elitism involved in them. and I guess that is the price we pay (in lieu of an monitary price).
don't think at all that I was directing that at you Boost, I didn't mean it that way.
and BTW, I'd kill for an EMS, one of these days I'll get one, until then I'll use über.
there are things that crome has that uber doesn't, and vice versa, so I guess I shouldn't have said that the way I did. I respect both of those programs, along w/ the EMS.

with hondata do you still have to go to a special place to get it tuned? that's how it was 2 years ago when I was looking at it and I was going to have to drive a long *** way to get it tuned, I'd rather just burn my own chips and throw them in, no problems. how about aem, what's the deal with that?

AEM is a REAL stand alone, that you tune w/ your computer, or your tuner's computer.
Hondata used to be like that before the honda community found out what chip burners were. and now you can buy their romulator to go w/ the setup.

I prefer EMS hands down, I've worked slightly with my buddies motec and I really didnt care for it, I dont know if it was just his version, but jesus christ, it was all in a DOS shell. The datalogging had a special memory feature that would only allow 5 times of datalogging then you would have to send the ecu back to motec. He had to keep sending his harness back to motec because it was either wrong, or he wanted to add something to it. For the price he paid and all the hassels he went through with that, theres no way. On the other hand I have 2 other friends who use AEM EMS, and I'm just blown away each time I use it. For the price, how easy it is to install, how much support/tunes availble compared to Motec, its hands down EMS is better for us.
