Default I follow in Johnny's footsteps

An operator at my company is selling a 1999 Camaro Z28. Its a rare orange color, has 23,000 original miles and been garaged kept. The guy is in his late 50's and never drives the thing so its in better than perfect condition, all stock.

How much would you pay?

Those are the worst cars to buy becuase they are almost brand new mechanically.. but they're outdated. If he's old and doesn't know much about cars value these days, and thinks his car hasn't depreciated because it has no miles he'll put a high price on it like 18k.

He's a car guy I bullshit with him for hours so he knows what he's doing when it comes to cars. He's selling it becuase its a 6speed, he's having health problems so he wants an automatic.

As a car to go fast, I don't consider it outdated

Hugger Orange perhaps? I'd see if the guy won't go down to 12k even. But 13-14k is still a good deal. And I didn't know the LSx series motors were outdated yet. Guess I'm just dumb

The SS has only 5 more hp and just ---- that would get changed anyway like tires and suspension.
