Everyone has an accent. There is no official "accent" and everyone speaks with an accent when compared next to someone else.

I have a strange accent, very southern.

Like spec just said, most people listen to music for their tunes, not for the lyrical content. Although I do appreciate music more if it has super-awesome lyrics, I care more about how it sounds...since that is what audio entertainment is about.

If I want something with lyrical content, I'll read a book.

im from so cal, lived here all my life. some canadian chic told me i had an accent. eh go figure.

I live less than 5 minutes south of the Canadian border. It bewilders me that across that imaginary line only a few miles away, most of the people that live there talk with funny accents.



But of course we NW Washington nogs have no accents. I'm pretty sure that's the first time JD has ever been wrong.
