it doesn't matter how low on the pan the oil drain is, as long as the turbo sits higher than the oil puddle in the oil pan.

Just like when you siphon gas, as long as the gas tank is higher than where its going to, it'll drain

look at your dipstick sometime, k thanks. when running, yeah the level is lower, but that thing sits down at oil pickup level.

my first setup had a low pan return, never had a problem with it.

you gotta remember that oil circulates from the pan via the oil pickup, so in a way having it like that does pull the oil from the return.

turbos shouldnt see much more then what like 25psi of oil pressure, without a restrictor when u start the car 75psi of oil pressure is going through it. either way its not draining fast enough as it should.
