I almost died today!
Hey kids. I was driving home from Akron, Ohio yesterday (I went to Summit Racing) when I was doing 90 on the highway home. I flew up behind a car and applied my brakes to slow down. Thud, pedal to the floor, no brakes. Thank god for the E-brake. I had to drive home (72 Miles) using nothing but the e-brake. In the end I put a master cylinder and a new set of rear pads on it. Apparently read pads don't like slowing cars down at highway speed. Apparently, God love me today :-)

Dam dude, I had that happen years ago on a VW bug, that's some SCARY ----!!! Quick thinking on the E brake, most people just panic and die. Have you ever done front brakes on a car and forget to pump the pedal up afterwards? I worked with a guy that did that, he hopped in the car after the brake job, started it, threw it in gear and backed all the way across the shop into a $5000 Snap on tool box, pushing the brake to the floor the whole time, he never even tried the E brake.

Re:I almost died today!
are you talking about pics of the manifold? i don't have a digi cam right now, but trust me, you don't want what he's selling. it's one thing if it looks ghetto, but the pipes on the inside are hanging over inside the flange and the t3 adapter plate is crooked as hell, i can make it look/work nice with a little work, but i paid him a pretty decent amount for it, so i shouldn't have to fix his mistakes.
