I think you need to get someone to help you do it, have someone press the cable while you watch the amount of throw. This can be a very simple task, however I've had 1 clutch job do something very similar to me in the past.

Just went to my car and I lied, there is resistance, felt like nothing before, but it feels the same as my spare tranny i have here does

I guess I'll be making a shim out of a bumpstop jlwelded to the mount or something to raise it up

I hope thats all it is

Thanks again guys, seriously, thank you

the disk shouldnt bolt up if its installed backwards would it? i know on my xtd u cannot install it backwards. make sure the black plastic nut is on the top of the bracket for the tranny, and then tightened u could have it routed wrong, its somthing simple, its the simple ---- that always geta ya. hope u get it figured out.

the disk will bolt down if installed backwards. but it sticks out farter and causes the fingers on the presure plate to come in farther than they normaly would. also it will grind the springs down on the presure plate bolt.

he should honestly know if it was installed backwards then, the reason i said that it cant is because most people would know its not right when theres a gap between the pp and flywheel.
