I still wouldnt be able to move this lever so easily would I? Like there is zero resistance on it

ABAZ

I do recall testing out the bearing when i installed it, it definetely moved and easily, i woulda noticed

What else could it be if this bolt is in there?

Yes, it should have zero resistance on it, about 1 to 1 1/2 inchs of freeplay before you touch the release bearing on the pressure plate. Do what I said, shim the cable, then have someone press the clutch in and out while you watch the throw.

Would shimming even do anything since the bottom of the cable is always going to be under the lever?

Kinda lost

Thanks for making that vid Jeff

I kinda get how it works now but even watching your vid and looking at how much pressure youre using to even pull it up that inch and a half

I really do mean, its like there is zero resistance when I pull it, but I do feel it hitting that pressure plate I think

---- I dunno

so much confusion over a simple task, if you would have done it with a manuel or if u had one and read it right, this wouldnt be a problem. do you mean like no play as in the peddle hits the ------- floor if you barley touch it or is there just a light force pushing back? sure u even got the right clutch?
