The ECU doesn't have any way of knowing VTEC is engaged unless it actually does the engaging.

since when are chipped ecu's alot? i sell you a chipped p28 for 95 shipped

i do not have a chip burner

if its chiped with a zif socket you dont need a soldering gun, you just pull the chip out burn a new map and pop the bitch back in. someone on here could burn a chip for you.
