i actually thought about buying a z06 but would like one with the last gen look with latest gen engine :P

I don`t like the way the new one look, wanted the one with flip up headlight but equipped with that 500 horse engine LOL
BTW i don`t even know what a LS7 is :P

im assuming you mean the c5. even though the c4(late 80s early 90s) and the c3(stingray, late 70s early 80's) all came with flip up headlights. they also were less stable at high speeds than the new c6 headlights.

the ls7 is the motor your referring to thats in the new z06. although if im not mistaking its the same engine code that the '63 split-window vette had. 427 ci if im not mistaking.
