I'm pretty sure I've decided on the Suzuki SV650. It's fuel injected, great power band, good fuel efficiency, I really like the way the "naked" model looks, and I haven't read a bad thing about them yet.

All the "popular" 600cc bikes in this area seem to be going for not much less than $1500 under MSRP. It's kind of ridiculous seeing we only get about 4 months of riding weather. I don't have $4000-6000 to throw on a bike and I don't really want a "well I dropped it a couple of times and its a 1992 so I'll sell it for $3500" popular 600cc. I'm talking with someone right now for a 2000 SV650 for $2500. Only problem is its red and I kind of wish it was any of the other colors....
