There's a pretty hot trade out the backdoor of the local dealer for good 30K mile engines. I've heard of service writers getting their wive's CRV engine warranty for "knocking," both to make a buck off of the engine and to get an engine that has retainers with 30K less miles on them since they are pieces of ----.

You'd be surprised what flies.

technically it belongs to whoever owns the car. by now someone prob scooped it up from auction. they called after the customer contacted them. writer says ok its going to cost u x amount of dollars to take car as is, x amount to have put back together or x amount to have a new clutch put in. they declined and said they were coming to get it. since i wasnt getting paid to put back together i put all the ---- on my cart so it was out of my way. i went on vaca and came back the car was gone. ***** been sitting there for months. so its not stolen more like abandoned property.

u obviously have no idea how a dealership runs. Honda has nothing to do with the trans. after i pulled it and said yep clutch is beat honda rep says not warranty. like JD said some crazy *** shenanagins go on at dealerships.

u do a lot of those kia manifold recalls with the bushing or whatever falls down into the motor? were a kia dealer too and those guys been doing those things like crazy. i get all kinds of ---- all the time. scrap is through the roof.

subaru kinda does the same thing. rust is a warrantable item on steelies, i have a set of steelies coming to me (we take turns), seat covers for ******* marking them up, etc etc...

next month for sure.. gonna be sometimes twice a month sometimes once a month... if i drive through your butt ---- town on the way home it only adds an hour to my total trip time... and that in turn lines me up to a straight shot home passing through rawrs house
