100 lbs out of a 4000 pound car is the same effect has 100 out of a 1700 lb car didnt you know

For me 80lbs is about 1/10. (my entire stereo system and subs). That extra .1 just isnt worth it so I race with the subs and everything in there. For the old big heavy *** 4000lb cars yes about 100 lbs will drop you a tenth. For us light weight 2500 and under, 80lbs roughly. Like someone else said if you were worried about losing .1 you were probably slow anyways lol. Unless of course you were running 13.0 all night long then I suppose a 12.90 sounds better right?

100lbs = a tenth is the general formula for old V8 cars........

For us, 60 lbs is a about tenth on a 2000-2200 lb car running 13.0-15.5 range, assuming proper traction and gearing.

10 pounds = a 10th on dragbikes. people out at the track will adjust there dial in after they have taken a ---- dont want to break out because of a log. lol
