I am thinking of buying a 92-95 eg si hatch from say cali so I can get a 1000% rust free car, Is this realistic or do cars rust down there to? Might be a stupid question but you always here of rust free ---- there is it really that true or do they eventually go out to?

when i bought my corolla it came from rancho cucamonga. it's the valley in the boonies. the only rust i got was a ring around the sunroof. but i here that's common for old sunroofs. anyways, the only cali cars taht are potentials for rust come from the bay area, frisco, oakland sacramento etc.

IF the car has been in cali,OR, WA it should be rust free. Yeah it rains a lot in WA and OR but it dosent snow more then twice a year.

I live on the top of washington(bc boarder) we get snow here :P. How much would a untouched(not modded) rust free black hatch si 92-95 go for down there? Is there such thing as super low milage ones? There around 5-6000 up here.

Tough to choose a good way.

Cali cars have all the rubber on them dried to hell and rust is still a possibility.

Your best bet is to find someone that parked indoors durring the day.

Never know, I got my 95 sentra from a little old lady who didnt drive it much (and never during the winter) and it was spotless when I bought it, no rust at all. and I live in western pennsylvania

almost all the 90 ish vehical are rust free (or 1-2 % rusted) but nothing major...gotta watch out for cars that has been parked near by the beach/ocean, seen a few that looks fine but all the bolts and little parts are rusted to hell.
