How many use gloves when working on cars?

i do when i first start on any engine work but as soon as they rip or break, i just throw them at somthing and carry on without! as i can't be assed to put another pair on!

I let it be known that I'm a mechanic at my Business school. I never where gloves unless I'm working with rough chemicals. Otherwise I just let my hands get dirty, and when people ask what I do, I just show them my hands and say "I'm a mechanic by night, a loan officer by day, and my car can tear your's apart.

i tried it, but i cant stand not feeling what im doing and not being able to turn bolts by hand well...i just keep cutting my nails shorter and shorter every time i work, and i use this ---- called Worx when i wash my hands, its like sand

yeah i don't really care for gloves much...can't feel as much. thats what i tell the ladies too

My hands are beat to hell from scrubbing the grease from them so many times, I think I'm gonna' start using gloves. Besides when it's 11 degrees outside, they might kinda help!

I use gloves almost exclusively. i have boxes of latex gloves next to my tool box. you say i'm a -----? well i say i dont get to touch any with dirty hands.
