your exhaust will usually be the lowest part on the car, then the oil pan(doh!) then the frame. My car scrapes the exhaust and sometimes the oil pan if I don't take speed bumps right, or go into driveways/alleys, with out rolling gangster style

Dont really have a problem with the oil pan being to low in an EG with stock GSR mounts.. i was hitting the frame and the header.

My car is dropped about 2.5" all around. it was wrecking my front tires (camber) so I got a camber kit for the front... then the wheels were rubbing on my fenderliners. So I just ripped them out. 
She never sees harsh weather (mostly) so it's not a big deal.

I think it depends where u live. If the roads are fucked up then u can't have your car slammed. I had blades on my car w/ a 3" drop in the front and a 2 3/4 drop in the rear. It looked good as hell but i couldn't drive into certain driveways. Now i'm running on 17" rims and I'm not satified how it rides because of turns and the way it looks.So i'm going to get 16's.

i have a 2" drop in front and 2.25" in the back, a bit bouncy, the ride quality isn’t all that bad, i can drive through speed bumps at a pretty moderate speed. it also depends on which brand of springs your getting. so yeah, what kind of springs are you getting?
