What's the longest you can wait and still make a claim on paypal to try and get your money back? I think I'm being scammed, but I wanna wait a little bit longer just to make sure and give the guy a chance, but at the same time I don't want to lose the possibility of getting my dinero back either.

i filed a claim after 2 weeks if i dont hear from the guy. Got to start it early before its too ------- late. But turned out guy lost his internet and wasnt able to sign on. Received it a few day's later, he gave me tracking number to show the date he orig promised to ship it . So what do you think was i jumping the gun or protecting my money?

I believe it has to be before 30 days but yea usually after 2 weeks if i don't hear anything then file a claim, had a similar situation as boosted bough about $500 worth of stuff from a dude , didn't hear from him for 2 weeks or longer ended up him and his GF got in a fight and he got kicked out of the house and could get his stuff including the stuff he sold to me and his computer and internet access, I filed the claim and since he couldn't respond paypal started to follow through and return my money he called me to tell me what was going on give me the shipping info so I canceled the claim once I recieved the stuff...better safe than sorry, I understood but still lame he sold the stuff and didn't ship it for almost a month
