I have yet to even see if my car locks work, all of my "junkyard tools" are in the car at all time, I have various ---- in there...havent had to many problems yet. While in NC, I couldn't lock my car, and the key was always in there. I did have my car broken into (although, it was a simple open the door break in cause it didnt lock) and all they stole was some govt. issue oakleys and a govt issue Gerber tool. (which I was pissed about the gerber. me and that gerber had some memories) THey didnt steal the tools, CD's, nothing.

We did have some ******* go through the neighborhood and steal ash trays one day. they litterly dumped the $$ and took off with the tray.

Seriously if there was ---- in a bag chances are it would be stolen. My 89 hatch was totalled in an accident... it was dropped off at my apartment complex... the hood didnt close. Within a week my Optima Yellowtop was ganked but I wasnt mad, more mad at myself that I was so careless with it. They also took an egay CAI and then TRIED to break into my car. Sad part was there was nothing at allll in the car except trash. Had they tried prying the window out in the middle they would have gotten in.

Seriously... cars are so easy to get into without breaking a window. I believe you were owned by your own stupidity.
