I mean look, Ford is focusing more and more on its Fuckus. Chevy is producing a 220 horsepower Cavalier (turbo). Dodge is producing the SRT4-NEON, Chrysler has its piece of ---- ugly ***, brick in the wind, PT Cruiser.

And its going to get funnier because all these dumb ---- pro-american only people are going to have to start insulting their beloved Ford, and Chevy, and Dodge because pretty soon it wont be just neon's getting riced out.

I have nothing against v8 people or v8 cars at all, my first car was a 75 vette stingray. My dad had camaros, challengers, baraccudas, chevelles and others (he loved stripping them and rebuilding everything), but it is funny how they think that there is no chance that a well tuned 4cyl can beat them. Now that I hooked up my civic my dad is all into helping me work on it (I taught him about how a turbo works on a our cars and he helped me install it and even came up with great ideas while doing it. I am going to do some more work on the civic just to shut my friend up. I will post pics of my car once I get a digital camera.

when you turbocharge an engine you're effectly doubleing, tripling, maybe more the amount of gas it can intake. so maybe chacko you're just as guilty of burning too much gas as anyone who drives a 8 cyclinder car.

most normal people like all types of cars, why does it matter what kind of engine they have in them, as long as they're a good platform to work on. of course people have prefrences and thats great. but why do you have to hate on someone else. and i'm sure the reason v8 KIDS are so cocky is BECAUSE THEIR CAR IS FASTER. whats the hottest 4cyc turbo car you can buy? evo8? wrx? a run of the mill z28 camaro/gt mustang just as fast, or more likely faster. if you car came stock faster than someone else's wouldn't you brag? or at least show it off? why the ---- not?

i don't understand the immidiate "redneck" calling of people who drive v8 cars. what about austin martins, bmws, benz, land rover, toyota, ext. you just hate what you don't know and are probably just jealous.

people already insult domestic rice, how is that new in any way? american made cars have used 4 cyclinder engines for a very long time. why would anyone care about that, you think all of a sudden BRAND NEW NEVER BEFORE SEEN 4 cyclinder american cars are coming out? get a ------- grip.

those evo8s are pretty sweet cars, i'd love to have one. 273ft-lbs of tourqe is cool. and retail price is only 28k. but its weights more than the z06 and has 134 less horsepower. but that evo is a pretty good price/performance car. better than s2000

my buddy works at a mitsubishi dealer you cant pick up a evo for less than 42 thats a ------ markup they have sold everyone they have gotten in at that price.
at least the lightining is better than the harley davidson version.
my problem is not with the v8 but the cheap cars they come in the inteior of a z06 (plastic) doesnt compare to any bmw i have seen. im not a big fan of huge cars, i dream about owning a elise not a escalade. the gforces from a trans am taking feel amazing but, not for me.

the roadster version of the vette is a lot better with the interior. i know an old guy who bought a 03 roadster cause he wanted a converitbke, and had the dealership put the ls6 intake manifold (main difference between ls6 and ls1) and headers on his engine. and it made 430hp from 385. and the interior was very nice. leather, good looking dash and it had a HUD.
