Just to make it clear. On the datalog when the engine blew I spiked at 26psi and fell down to 22 psi by 4800rpms which is where the motor blew up. This thread wasn't started to flame the tuner. SSure it sucks that he MAY have fucked up and blew my motor, but the thread was started to show block carnage from a dsm. If anyone knows the tuner and wants to flame, feel free. Ratcityrex was right about the tune. The street tune him and I made put down a 223whp on a baseline dyno run that I did when I first got to the tuner.

Anyways. I got a new motor and will only be running 20psi for now. As soon as I get it back in. Why run the AEM with the 16g?? Why not?? I would rather start tuning with a smaller turbo and have a couple ofl basemaps setup. That way when I go to a bigger turbo I'll already have the means to do all the tuning with my current fuel setup.

Can anyone explain why some dynos read "conservatively"? This guy is saying with all the technology in the world I cant expect to get an accurate hp reading on a piece of ---- dyno... Good to hear

All dynos read differently. I've seen DD units that read like Dynojets, "shootout" mode claims aside.

You use a dyno to measure gains when tuning, and if you are familiar with individual dynos (not brands - literally individual dynos) you can say what means what on whichever dyno. If you want to know what that means in the real world you take it to the strip and then ********** over 60', 330', 1/8th, 1/4, traps on a sliding scale of experience vs opinion.

It's fun.

Who am I? I'm a person that knows nobody can pin point the cause of a engine falure like the one we see here.
Have some respect why dont you. Atleast some self respect ...Its easy to see that all you are doing is bashing the Tuner. The power was waaaay closer to 300whp; cause that dyno reads low. You know that about that dyno, or you've atleast heard it before, but obvioulsy you just want to take this opportunity to bash the tuner

Just cause the tuner was a dumbass doesn't mean he is incompitent. Besides I didn't make the title, it's just my car :-) As far as I can tell the knock readings on the log weren't being watched which makes the engine go boom and that makes the tuner a dumbass for not catching it before the boom. Can you argue with that?

I know Andre, he doesn't know what he is doing whatsoever when it comes to tuning.

I'd have respect for him but I've seen him rip off 11tybillion people, this guy isn't the ------- first.

so 243awhp was really 300awhp? the $100,000 dyno is ------- 20% off? hahahahahhahaha

Thats not true.
Wasnt it YOU that turned up the boost? I heard that YOU were the person who turned up the boost right before it blew up. And nobody seems to know what boost you turned it up too ...could have been a 30psi spike that blew it up

After you made 243whp. The tuner told you that he didnt think the car would make more HP on pump gas... but you told the tuner that you wanted to make 250whp even after he advised you against it. After you kept saying you wanted 250whp.... The tuner said OK, its your car, and you can do what you want. That is when you tunred up the boost even more and on the next dyno run, the motor blew-up

To me that makes you have a part in blowing it up. Especialy after the tuner told you not to try for more HP

How about you show us the AEM logs?
The before it blew up logs, and after it blew up logs would be nice.

You say its not a flame post, but whatever
If you want to flame why dont you atleast show us some evidence to backup you ***** talking?
