the only way it's affecting me now is i can't find a job. wife makes just enough money to pay all of our bills. not much left over at the end of the month $50 maybe.

about 2 years ago when the gas prices shot up and the economy started going to ---- is when it affected us the most.

people can't afford to tip or even go out, both of us stopped making money.
places like vegas suffered a lot when gas prices were high. no one was flying or driving to vegas, we lost our house and our 02 tahoe. as of right now we are doing ok, i just need to get a job making min wage or higher and we will be good.

my mom is doing bad in all this.
she was trying to sell her house 3 years ago so she could retire, she's been self employed for the last 30 years and didn't plan for her retirement. just figured she'd sell the house and live off that.
should be good, would have been great if the market didn't crash. right now the houses on this street are selling for about 200-250k. if she could get 250k for it she could probably be good.
she would have lost the house if we didn't move in here 2 years ago and start making the mortgage payment. she's lived here for 30 years and she can't afford to live here and she can't afford to sell. it's very sad.

oh and her business is child care, people lose their job and they don't need someone else to watch their kid.
right now she only has one kid.

my 95 ex tranny has almost 200k and is starting to grind a tad going 3-4 im turboing it this summer and a LSD would be great.

you will have some work from me this summer for sure!

for me it is kinda rough but not to shabby,

my mom got her LNA lisence but then hurt her back at her factory job. She works for a company making parts for GM that about says it all. Im a full time student and commute to work. Im trying to pay for school to be an RN (one year left wooo!!) as well as the phone bill and keeping all cars maintained.

it getting hard though....I have my "solid" job working in laundry at a nursing home. about 14.00 an hour so its not too bad. I also deliver pizza and its VERY off and on....seems like we are busy only when the unemployment checks come in ;-P

not to bad though, kinda lived through a war and my house was shelled back in croatia....cant really go below that so whatever happens it still cant be worse lol.
