i wasn't talking about my pos crx. i already told you the suspension was fucked. if i hit a bump around a corner the entire back end comes off the ground and i start to slide. which isnt drifting, its skidding sideways out of control.

you aren't suppsed to drift in a front wheel drive car.

i wasn't never talking about a fwd car, i was talking about a rear wheel drive car. those are the only cars that are supposed to drift, and not even then. only if they can't handle

you're taking what i'm saying wrong.

i guess you're the big pro RICE car driver. i shouldn't try and argue with you.

http://streetracing.tiora.net/japan/drift/drift1.htm

read it. the only thing having to do with a CLUTCH is dropping to get the tires spinning (no tourqe turbocharged car)

http://velocity.isfaster.com/drift/s...w/overview.htm
Race Drift

this is performed at race speeds, when entering a high speed corner a driver lifts his foot off the throttle to induce a mild over steer and then balances the drift through steering and throttle motions. (note the car that is being used for this style of drift should be a neutral balanced car therefore the over steer will induce itself, if the car plows through any turn this technique will not work)
THROTTLE MOTIONS, MEANING MORE GAS = CORRECTING, LESS GAS = DRIFTING OUT MORE.

still going to argue?

man found the perfect explaination.

http://www.driftworks.org/

its in the theory/advanced part of the website.

quit arguing with me. this isn't playstation 2 gran turismo

The car has settled into a nice flat drift now, and you should be able to steer it by feathering the throttle.
More Throttle = Longer Drift, Less Throttle = Straight CarOnce you have gotten to this point you can hold the wheel with one hand while you stick the other arm out the window for style.
QUIT ARGUING ME WITH I'M RIGHT 84.5% OF THE TIME

tigris, or anyone else who wants to learn, buy a car your willing to see go into a ditch. because i promise if you persue the skill of drifting, and you learn it by trial and error, you will wreck you car. youll go though tires real quick too.

Wanna drift a FWD car, get an adjustable rear sway bar. Start tightning it till you are about neutral in handleing. It will be much easier to induce oversteer.

RWD is easy. Hit the gas in a turn. Let off the gas to get the tires to grab and end your slide.

omg, could that blow off valve be anymore annoying? ----, you can even hear a slight tone of compressor surge with it (lame) but very cool video, nice driving.

questions on FWD driftng. here is a small vid. these are two K-cars. here in japan very few cars are FWD. K-cars are really the only ones. To be considered a K-car or yellow-plate they have to have engine with 660cc's or less. Yes, very small. Many have turbo though. These two do.
