jd...once i get in touch with chris(mod here) my itb's will be ordered and once they get here i'm comming to you...chris(turbo b16 crx) might come with me but he said he doesn't know where u live now...we'll figure it out...all i know is i have to get my car back to what it was...

The thing is, something has to slip to get you off the line. The engine is sitting at 4000rpm+ and the car is stationary.
Something has to slip to bring the car and the engine to the same pace. I find it best to slip the clutch a little to move the car the first feet and then release it completely and let the tires sort the rest. I have my launch control wired so that it doesn't disengage until the clutch has engaged.
The best equipment for drag racing is an automatic transmission, especially if it has a transbrake. Just set the boost right for the launch and take off with zero wheelspin as the torque converter does the slip for you.
