Still sounds wrong to me :P

It's simply pronounced Greddy.

It comes from two words "Great" and "Eddy" => Great Eddy => Greddy. Eddy means a swirling motion in fluid dynamics. Great Eddy is implying the intake of a turbocharger.

then why are the GR in GReddy always caps? not thay i dont call it greddy myself but it makes sence that its really G Reddy.
