how do i get the radio working

how do i get the honda radio to work...with the code...i have tryed typing it in at all speeds...and still cant get it to work....plez help

hehe mine too

my crx si has a different honda radio
when i bought it, it was locked.. its been locked ever since..

Well.. I know you can get the codes from the honda dealers...
I lost my code once, but luckilly I found it again... ever since, I just wrote it on the radio =P

writing it on the radio is probably the smartest thing other than etching it into your skin with a sharp object.... but... y would you want to keep that flimsy thing in there... when i first got my 94 EX... tha radio was locked... i tried calling the previous owner... but they werent much help.... i went to the local HOnda dealer.. and they were gonna charge me 75 bucks to give me the unlock password... i said ---- that... this peice of ---- isnt worth 10... so i just went out and bought a new radio.... and had fun beating the ---- out of the old one with a big sledge hammer...

see i got the hook up i am going to be working at the honda dealer and am freinds with the parts guy and the general manager...well kind of...and i got the code..for free...but the thing is locked and i have like 6 days to xmas and have to have something to listen to...the wholes in the exhaust get boring...lol

Same holds true for aftermarket radios.. Like the blaupunk in my 4x4.. Luckily this one is resetable if you have the old code. you can change it to one you will remember.. I used last 4 digits of my soc Security #.

Considering it locks every time the bat is dead or disconnected I'm Glad i used something so easy to remember.
