I've been doing $500 for me, eCtune registration fee ($35), and up to four hours dyno time at BRMS. That works out to $125/hour for tuning and dyno, and I don't mind dropping a little extra time on a car no charge because it is what it is. Four hours is all that is needed to do a thorough job with sub 400 whp B-series and sub 300 whp D-series, then give it a quick whirl around the block to make sure tip-ins and TPS enrichments are right. I think it's a very good price.

Talk to the guy for a few minutes, if you haven't already, and if he sounds like he knows what's going on then go for it. I can be opinionated as hell about people when they've done something stupid and don't realise it, but there are frankly quite a lot of good tuners out there.

Yea, well a guy up there that sold me a b16 said they know what they are doing when it comes to dyno tunning. Damn I hope he's right lol. But Im hoping for 320whp on stock block with 450's, 255 walboro pump and a t3/to4e intercooled from a front mount. is that gonna be hard to do?

320 whp is pushing it on 450cc unless you jack up the fuel pressure. I suggest you hit 300 and shut it down, or upgrade injectors.

Ok well I was thinkin something like 660's but thats another note now, cause they are now saying they cant tune obd0 and want to charge me 1,000 to convert it to obd1 and then they could tune the obd1. This sucks, I didnt know obd0 is much harder than obd1 to tune. If someone could give me some pointers and such I could do it myself. But I would have many ?'s lol. well I have a basemap coming in from xeno anytime now so all I need is a damn tune! well then Im gonna stick with around 270whp to keep my mind at ease. Ill be all paranoid driving and thinkin Im gonna blow it up lol. Im here at work right now are there any good sites to help me understand TE or BRE better?

Your xenocron basemap is better than a tune from people wanting to charge you 1k to convert to obd1 cause they can't tune obd0. I'm a dipshit, and even I know that.
