The wiring gets pretty crazy because their are literarly hundreads to thousands of wires that have to be connected perfectly without any room for error. Before i got this job i was pretty shitty at wiring up stuff, but now i think i could build an entire custom wiring harness for just about any car in less than 2 hours.

Re:how crappy is your job?
I went to school for that, PLC's and robotics.
Cool, i'm guessing you did automation? I was deciding which one to go into, instrumentation or automation, but i decided on instrumentation just because were i live theres alota oil and gas places hiring us. Both courses kick *** as far as how much money you can make if you go and work at plants.
So where are you working now lude?

I got to park a Lamborghini once, that thing was the ----! I was almost afraid to touch It . the guy give me $150 dollars to take "extra special care of it." I parked that thing right in front of the booth and stared at it for around 2 hours. Some days the temptation is overwhelming to go get in those things, give the finger at the gate guy and run like hell! the most I have ever made in one day was last 4th of july. I made $2800.00 in one day!
i am a Marine, but not the one you see on television doing all the kick-***, blow ---- up stuff. instead i am a PME Tech in the 3rd Marine Air Wing. basically if it is a measurement device then my shop calibrates and repairs it. but i am going to Iraq the first week of March, and i won't be doing any cal work. i'll be security forces and that's about all i can say.
the Marines will be taking over for (some of) the Army and letting them come back home.
