How can you tell.

How can you tell.
I relize that there are people out there that sieze every oppotunity to rip you off. So, i was just wondering how you can tell if the CRX you are buying is a DX, SI, or HF?
I relize the 88 hf came with the 1.5L 8 valve motor stock and the Si cam with a 1.6L and the 90 to 91 version has rear disc breaks. But an engine swap and rear brake conversion is easy to do. I was mainly directing this post to the vin number liek if there is parts of the vin that tells you what year model etc that you have.

Re:How can you tell.
as long as all the vin numbers match up. You should be good to go, Check the engine code too to make sure its what they tell ya it is. And sometimes car fax wont tell ya if they have swapped it out, but it will tell ya by the vin what the orginal body type whould be.
