The mobile locksmith would come make a key but it was nearly $200 with the service call. Honda didn't want a title or anything I found that a little scary but hey mine was locked in the car anyway. So I coathangered my way in and pulled all the ignition cover, luckily the breakoff bolt head on the ignition lock werent broken off so I just pulled that off the column and it contains the bolt that locks the steering shaft. Then pull the white switch insert screw driver and boom. Luckily the guy buying it was a friend that didn't care and he just doesn't lock it and starts it with a screwdriver he stole from 90dx and still hasn't given back.

take the cover off and unscrew the ign switch, that will start the car
take a chisle and a hammer. the 2 bolts holding on the ign switch bracket is the lock.
tap the brake bolts(look like rivits) revers. they will unscrew. once they start to turn u can undo them by hand and drive like normal

what i did with the security screws was take the cover off and get a dremel with those thin cut off wheels and i cut slits on the top of each bolt head and just used a flat head screw driver to take them out. the chisel thing works but sometimes they wont come by hand and it takes forever..

funny story, my buddy has a black thunderbird and one day he was leaving school and he walked out to his car(or so he though) got in and started it and then realized he doesnt have mardi-gras beads hanging from his rear view mirror. so he drove it over to his car and left it there and took his car home.

hahaha thats funny my buddy in highschool had a 91 civic sedan LX that had a gizillian miles on it the key was so worn it was like rounded off on all edges. The kye would start almost any 88-91 civic or crx, i for one had to borrow his key multiple times when i lost my keys or locked them in my car, worked like a dream
