....or the ignitor is bad. if it messedup while driving, did you see the RPM gauge just drop to zero at any point while driving? When it does that, the spark actually stops and you arent going anywhere until it feels like working again. Then you have to replace it. About $90 for a ignitor. For that price I'd just buy a new dist form distributor king on ebay.

i replaced the complete dizzy, so in theory that should have solved my problem w/ the busted coil/ignitor/CKP sensor etc
i pulled the plugs while we were checking the car and they looked fine, if anything i am running slightly lean in cyl 2 & 3 compared to 1 & 4

Most of the no spark problems that i've seen are a bad ingnitior, check your grounds to make sure that their still intact, don't forget the one on the thermostat housing. Need to get a book and test the coil and ignitor.

i had something similar happen to me the other night. i was driving down the interstate at about 4,300 rpm (b16 tranny) and suddenly the car bogged down to 3500 rpm and wouldnt let me rev pass 4g, so i drove home under 4 g and checked my injector wires and saw that one of the wire were showing metal and was grounding out. tapped up the wires and problem solved. my coilpack in the dizzy was also cracked i replace em too.
