The last car show I went to was like in '01. After that there isn't really anything unique that you're going to see, so everyone goes over the top lowrider mexican on thier civics and then you feel robbed for paying to get in.


I'm out like car shows.

The only car shows around here are classic car shows, which I love. Every now and then, there's a small "sport compact" section that makes me puke a little bit in my mouth.

A small meet was held in Busey Woods in Shaumburg as the anti-HIN meet. Only a select hardcore few showed up but it was a good time.

HIN is ------- gay... and if you are in for the ladies thats pretty sad too. Just a big cocktease. Heard the cars were all pretty lame, as expected, and they didn't give away as much ----. Maybe people are realizing that HIN is a waste of money.

Where the hell is Chi-town? Doesn't every state have a Chi-town? haha (no clue). I'll probably be going to the one here in Boston. I have a few friends who are in it so I'll show the support.

That's right....A few years back, don't remember how, I got the hookup of distributing the flyers with the coupon for the show. Well I get a free ticket for my work. I don't pass any of them out really, maybe 10-20 of the 2000 they send, but I get a free ticket. Only reason I still go, because its free. The cars are usually gay, there's a few that are decent. Some girls are ok, and then the free stuff.

But when you are in the car/part/install business you need to know what people want, even if you think its gay, money talks.
