Default Hooking Up a D16y8

i have a 00 civic ex i am thinking about selling it because it is so slow. i have a short air intake and a 2 1/4 inch exhaust. Are there any ways of making this motor run with out pooring money into it or is it just not worth it.

This might sound crazy as all hell, but how about a turbo?

That motor will scream with a little bit of boost.

Definately. You haveto add money to get speed. It isnt free, and if it was everyone would have a fast car.

They're right. You can add 80 hp to that car and it will seem fast to you. It will be relatively, but not in reality. an EX running 14.8's is respectable, just be aware that it is not really that fast but it will be a fun project. Have fun with it and learn about boost,. Boost is your friend. and I'm not talking ---- about honda's, just be real about it. it's all fun.

nitrous alone can get a crx in the low 14's (depending on the ***** of the tuner) from what ive heard doing ANYTHING to a obd-2 car will automatically turn on with a CEL?
