Default Honda Tuning: 1g Teg w/ b18c5 Turbo...

Anyone read the current honda tuning article with the 87 teg sporting a ITR motor turbo'd? Man I was impressed!

I saw it when I was reading magazines at my mechanics, but didnt get a chance to read it. I'm sure that little ****** flew though

yeah i got my honda tuning mag the other day...that 1g teg is badass . theres also a pretty good article in there about the k series in there too.

i don't understand why people would even want to do a k swap other than it's interesting, but even that lost it's appeal once everyone started doing them :P

actually kevin, it's an article on "everything about the k motor". Honda tuning wrote down a nice detailed article with everything about swapping heads and intakes etc.

from what I've read. The K's seem to be way more advacned then a B. Roller rockers, far less valve adjustments AND less wear on the cams.
Chain driving timing gears.
ECU controlled cam phasing (+/ 25deg)
the old b-series vtec ecu's have 4 maps, ign/fuel for low and high cam.

the new k ecu's have that, but at 0, 10, 20, 30 and 50 deg cam angles (or somethin like that).

the crank shaft is held in place more securely. somthing about half the block is the girdle.. i dunno.

the ecu is also obd-1 "style" with a flashable rom on board

i saw that...The due has some bomb *** suspension.....he just need to drop the car a bit more to make it look decent

that's some badass ----. Car reminds me of a guy i once knew that had a 1st gen integ with a CTR motor. That thing was pimp sleeper, it was white on some silver M8(?) rotas. He offered to sell me the car, but I had no money
