maybe he did it to keep the filter from expanding to much and busting (if that's even possible) if he was running really high oil pressure, but i don't see how it could help performance any

*accually, it was to lower oil pressure, but i wanted everyone to argue over it. aurguing will probably happen anyways.

how high is your oil pressure compared to a stock filter for your zc? from what ive heard the s2k filter is smaller much similar to the hx filter and what not.

a bigger oil filter is better than a smaller one cause it holds more oil. it won't affect the oil pressure by that much, if any. since it holds more oil, the oil will cool down a little while it's being fitlered.

I didn't notice any change in oil pressure, although my oil pressure at idle has always been less then 20 psi
