When one of the riders shot forward, Loney was ready with his stopwatch. He clicked it once when the motorcycle reached a white marker on the road and again a quarter-mile later. The watch read 4.39 seconds, which Loney calculated to be 205 mph.
lol like that'd hold up in court, lmao.. if he was even .1 seconds off thats like 40mph... what a joke.

"Honda 1000" im sure there's more to the name of the bike then 1000".

LMAO. stupid cops.

he should completely down grade the ---- out of his bike, replace everything with like 250 stickers and ----
and then say that it is impossible for his bike to reach 205mph

the whole airplane speed traps are ------- stupid.

moral of the story

just because you're out in the middle of no where and there aren't any cars around doesn't mean you ain't being watched.

you jacked this from hybrid something or other 95's site, didn't you.

human reaction time on average is .2 seconds, plus this guy is in a shakey *** air plane, his line of site is probably not directly over the rider so that's more error, plus if I took this to court I'd throw in some bs about the time it takes light to reach the plane and ----.

Actually, .1 of a second off only returns 4.67mph difference.

so even if he was off by half of a second (.2 for the start, .2 for the finish, plus we will add .1 for the light)
that will relate to 25 mph off. making top speed 180mph. Even if he was off by 2-3 full seconds, he was speeding way over the speed limit.

Another point to look at would be that the offficer's reaction times are cancelled out becuase his reaction time is the same for from when "he sees the tire past the first line" until the point when the "stop watch starts". that reaction time will cancel out the time from when he sees the rider's tire cross the 2nd line.

I'm almost positive for this to stand in court that the flying officer needs to get an average of atleast 2 quarter mile times possibly 3.

My mom had this and she got a ticket for 64 tossed out in a 45 becuase they only had 1 timing.

Who knows, this cop could have been a ------- monkey jack anyways. Those markers that he was using could have been a 1/10th mile markers (obviously 1/10th to 1/4 mile markers are a hell of a lot different, but im just using that for an example) (if the bike was going 73mph it takes roughly 4.39 seconds to go between markers)

Now doesn't 73 MPH seem about average for a regular highway/freeway where the posted limit is 65mph? I will usually go 70-73 mph when the posted limit is 65.

Question: How fast were the bikes going when the ground unit came up on them? Are there witnesses that saw these bikes flying like ape ----? Go to bearshare and search for 180mph motorcycle and you'll get the video of the guy on the bike doing 180mph passing a cop then he goes around a clover of freeway onramps and comes back up onto the cop pulling another bike over up the road. that guy orgiinally passed like 5 cars before the cop and yeah..yuo see my point.

yet again...---- the police

that was about 15 min from my house. Its a good road to go fast on, but 205 would be pretty crazy.
