they talk up the s2000 constantly through the entire video then a FWD civic hatch wins the race, and a FWD integra wins the season
and a g2000 (gay) wheel falls off around a corner... all the s2ks have stock powerplants

guess which had faster times around the track... LOL
torque owns you. s2ks suck on any track that has very tight corners (1st gear or bog 2nd) or long straights (no *****)
ill ldig up the artical if i had to...
the s2k handles great, is a fun car, but its not a road racer in stock form
any ls1 camaro/svt mustang will toss its salad around any track (unless its made for go-karts *cough* autocross)

johnny....i wish like high hell you could bring your mustang over here. or the stangs here would get out and try to run with the honduh's. -hell, even the skylines or silvias/180's. They would get ran in the ground so dam hard.
And yes, there are mustangs over here....I also saw a 68-69camaro to. -Z28. OF all of the weekends I go out usally 2 or 3 times a month to run our cars, never once have I ever seen anything like that out at least trying.

why do you think they are so much better? because they are underpowered?

eh
ther s2000 is ok, im sure its fun... its too slow to compete against real cars around a race track
they get their advantage from braking... which doesnt help much if there are any straight aways
exactly what i said

So how did the S2000 perform in its role as giant killer? Not as well as I'd hoped. Our debut was at GingerMan, where I was able to lap in the 18 range -- quicker than the Camaro in our comparison test and under the T2 track record but, alas, more than a second slower than the pony cars in my class. I wound up fourth out of five.
The lesson that emerged was this: The S2000 is a sweet car to drive anywhere, but it has trouble keeping up with the big torque generators at the start of a race, exiting slow corners, and on long straightaways. It thrives on circuits composed primarily of medium-fast and fast corners, such as Nelson Ledges and Connecticut's Lime Rock Park. Mid-Ohio doesn't fall into that category, and that, plus schedule conflicts, led me to skip the 2000 runoffs. I'd about decided that the S2000 was capable of annoying the giants, but killing them was another matter.

autocross, our retarded 1/8m "drag strip" whenever they feel like setting it up, the mountains, highway 58 you name it.
and autocross is not racing.....like ive said it before. either-
1. you tried it once in the stang and got your *** handed to you
or
2. you fucked it up really really bad.
could only go one of 2 ways. drag racing. theres a real competitive competition. lets drive straight for 1320ft then stop as fast as we can so we dont get into the sand trap :1
not rockin on it, just simply stating that theres more skill involved in a circuit/autocross race. thats all.
