every group has people that are bias, my father has an 97' integra gs-r, i love the thing, if only i could put a turbo on that, would be the best of both worlds.

OK, I dont want to start a flame war or anything, but why do you guys have to bash DSM's, they are good cars! And as for you saying all DSM owners are *********, ---- you! As Laserturbo91 said, every group has people that are bias. I give a lot of respect to people, but when they start saying ---- like that, well, like I said I don't want to start a flame war. Where else can you get 195hp for less than $5000...and AWD? Plus if you just strapping on a K&N and cat-back exhaust, there is an easy 40hp. I own a 1991 Eagle Talon TSi FWD which is one of the best cars I've ever driven(except for the bloody torque steer). You can probably all admit that if you were to buy a stone stock Civic, that the first thing you would want to do to it is give it some more *****.

1G 2.0T: 7.8:1
2G 2.0NT: 9.6:1
2G 2.0T: 8.5:1

Okay I started this post, and I wasn't trying to talk smack about DSM owners or even their cars. I would love to have my own DSM, and anybody who says that a turbo DSM is a piece of junk obviously does not know anything about them. They are afforable performance, and their reliability is rather good considering they are turbo cars. I just hope that if there's anyone here who has ever been smacked on for being a "ricer" or Honda lover, that they would take it easy on guys on this forum who love other cars -- a Honda is not everyone's favorite car, and if you were raised in a different background, you might have even become a car nut of completely different sorts. We need to be aware of our bias and be petient with guys that don't drive the same cars as us, even if they don't ever plan to.

I can admit that Hondas are more reliable than DSM's, but if you take care of your car and don't bag the sh*t out of it, It will last as long as the next viechle. Ricers don't bother me, its just how they like there car to look. I would be even more happy with my car if parts for it were as abundant and cheap as a honda's.

Hey not to bring this back on topic or anything but whats up with everyone thinking that you can't be underboost on the highway in a honda? Everyone I talk to that autocrosses thinks the motor is gonna blow because they will boost too long or something like that. Did this start because some ricers were boosting too high with an fmu setup and blew it on the highway?
