good luck gettin it from me, I love this stuff... btw, that picture was taken while it was still drying, so it has gotten a little lighter in color and flatter (looks more real)... now i'm looking for a sohc vtec valve cover that says "vtec"... all of mines are the sleeper ones that just says honda... if anybody has one in southern cali for cheap (or free) let me know...

It came out real nice!!

They do sell that stuff at my local parts store though. It might be wise to check locally before ordering from summit unless you're going to order something else from them.

My B16 cover that i just took off says HONDA and the type r cover says HONDA that i just put on

I make my own wrinkle paint I just put the valve cover on top of two rails (so i can get to the underside) then spray my paint. Then just grab a big azz blow torch and heat the underside of the valve cover It works, but u gotta be careful :P

both of my valve covers that i have done i have sandblasted them clean... and the first one i did this gun metalish color. i primered twice paint coat then clear coated and it was perfect.. then the second one i did i just sandblasted and clear coated it.. they turned out great but i guess it is hard if u don't have access to a sand blaster.

You don't need a sandblaster, just a can of aircraft remover and that does the trick just fine.

that's what I've used also, it strips the old paint out quick and also cleans out any grease that might be on the metal, then the new paint sticks on great, and looks good

Don't forget that the DOHC and VTEC are diff between the two. On B16 the DOHC is bigger on B18 VTEC is bigger.
