That's nothing to be ashamed of, every time I go far enough south to get some good sweet tea that's always what I order/buy. I just wish there were more places around here that knew how to make some good sweet tea.

I've always heard of southerners bitch about sweet tea at all of the restaurants I've worked at. They're always really defensive about it, but I don't understand because I've never seen anyone drink tea without sugar in it? We just call it tea

Sweet tea is more than just tea and sugar, it's diabetes incarnate.

My rents drink tea w/o sugar, its disgusting. Mom makes a mean batch of iced tea though, I tend to be the one to drink it all.

You serve UNSWEETENED tea that is no longer hot enough to properly dissolve sugar in it. That fake *** chemical crap in the pretty colored packets doesn't count. It might be okay if you Northern dildoes had a simple syrup on hand, but you never do.

Sweet tea is brewed, sugar mixed in, then iced.

You northerners do it wrong. You can't ice then mix the fake *** sugar in, it is nowhere near the same taste.
