went down to nissan and talked to them
it's a tapered dowel plug that goes in there....
i went to a shitty machiene shop unknowingly and he probably pulled it out and didn't let me know

Dont be a cheap ***, thread it and use a bolt. you can seal around the bolt with JB weld.
