Hey guys, I OBVIOUSLY got really lucky or something. And I'm not trying to stick up for anyone thats scamming, but here is my experience:

I'm totally shocked/confused right now. I bought a VW 42/48 T3 turbo off him and it showed up in fine shape and just as the pictures had shown. Also I bought some CRX Si wheels off him, which unfortunaly he couldnt make good on (had a resonable excuse) and refunded me my money in full.

So anyway long story short, I find it odd how some scammers just 'pick' on people to scam. Know what I mean? Like they're really inconsistant about it.

This is off Topic but Stealthmode its hard to take your *** kicking attitude seriously with your Vanilla Ice Avitar. It seems like Vanilla Ice is yelling at me.

Dr. Boost informed us about this last week, and under a little bit of investigation, it is true. Smokey civic is more than likly Dark Realm Customs / Blownvtec. Tracking all 3 IP's they are very close. All coming from mississippi, on the same dial up connection.

It really sadens me this ---- has to happen on my board. Now I know how Steve Jones felt about the crx resource classifieds. If it comes down to massive people getting ripped off, we will just take them down period.

losing the classifides would suck, but if you had to do it we'd know why. Maybe, a certain post count before you can sell on HMT? Just a thought, Doc recommended this a while back.

Wow... ya'll got me all skerd. I actually PayPal'd "Matt Baron"/Smokey some dough for some items that he was selling in the classifieds.

When HMT went down for a few days, I got a little worried, but when it was up and running he PM'd me with a tracking number. Looked it up and sure enough it was shipped out when he said he would.

I dunno, all this does seem kinda fishy, mad props to xplocivic for his Hawk eye, but maybe this Matt/David/Blown/Smokey is actually trying to do some good cause HMT is the spot.

So I dunno fellerz, but it was kinda wierd that there was no return address on the package. BUt none the less I got it, so much luck to all ya'll. And I would like to see a responce from Smokey/Blown/Matt/David or whatever his name is.

Hopefully this will give some reassurance to those who have RECENTLY purchased something from him.

Does my post make sense? Hopefully, if not read it backwards and see if that does any good.

hm well i sent him money for shipping on some check valves that he was getting rid of.... so he says.. it was in his sale in teh for sale section.. with all the cheap/free ---- that he only wanted people to pay shipping on...fortunately i only mailed him a few bucks... but its the principle... if i dont get my check valves and anyone "wilds out" on him...kick him in the ***** once for me
