Nice work, I used to do that about every 3 months for both of my big toes, hurts like hell doesn't it. But at the same time it's fascinating and you can't stop

Here's the deal man, once your toenails get like that, they're basically starting to grow sideways through your toe, that's why it hurts so bad. it starts to grow in all kinds of weird shapes and stuff. Anyway- the only way to get it to stop (and thus stop performing surgery all the time) is to get real surgery.

I had it done to both of my big toes about 8 years ago, no problems since. Basically they shoot the toe full of novicane, then they cut the toenail at the edge straight back, then use this electrical device that crackles a lot, and they burn the toenail, so it goes dead on the side and won't grow that way anymore.

I have to say, it was one of the best things I ever had done. Get it done soon so you don't have to have more self surgery, it gets old, trust me.

Maybe I'm not understanding what you're saying.

You say the nail should be as long as your toe? BULLSHIT. That's disgusting if your toenails are that long. Maybe my toes are formed different, but if I grew my nail out to be as long as my toe I wouldn't be able to sleep in the same bed as my gf. That would leave a good 1" of exposed toenail past where it's attached to my toe.
