I think there are more **** posts on HMT than you would probably find on any other car site, but it's not just one person (except Kain), so we can't really label anyone as lifeless.
GD has a couple intereting things, some ****, but the majority of it is worthless bullshit. Maybe it isn't the **** that is the problem. Maybe together we are all just a bunch of lifeless bastards?

Sinking money and time into bodybuilding is the same as sinking money into cars. Its just someone's passion. And yes, it is a pride thing too, but our whole economy is a rat race based on having cool ----. I actually think I've felt better having a "crowd" of people standing around me at the gym watching me squat 450 (mind you this is a college gym= not too many guys squating more than 2 plates) than the first time I pulled up to a car meet in my RHD 92 Del Sol SiR and took the targa off via the transtop (again, another crowd). To each his own...
