HMT motorcycle bandwagon....MY New OLD bike:
So with all the recent hoopla about old vintage bikes and the like recently... Thought Id post a pic of the 1969 Triumpgh bonneville My old man has had in the garage for the last 15 years gathering dust... I got the ------- thing running!!!! It leaks oil and needs some seals (which I bet are a ----------er to find)... BUt its a REAL Bonneville... with two seats (you can see the other cafe seat sitting in the bottom of the pics.... It sounds so awesome....... He wanted to sell it, but I think Im going to get him to give it to me... Ive been busting *** oin his COrvette and hes pumped..... so, I mentioned it.. He seems cool with it..... Its a really cool bike... One you DEFINATELY dont see every day....
Poor Vettes tires... we beat the ---- out of it today.... Some kind of funky issue though it still dont stop for ----.
ANYWAYS....
THe aluminum barely needs a polish to be BLINGING (Tank is all aluminum as well.....) ... I just wiped it off, changed the oil (you can see the puddle in the pics from it sitting for sooo ------- long), cleaned the carbs, put gas in it and put plugs in it. It started right up

I get this on wed hopefully, checked it out last week @ the dealer and signed all the papers. will get saftey and transfered next.
I have to go get my bike liscense on tuesday
goes good with this, will be painted once the engine goes back in again

LOL... Glad you guys like it.... Old mazns had the bike for 25 years or so, but its just sat in the garage behind the old interepter for YEARS...
Got hung up on the Vette yesteday for a while, so I fucked around with the Bonneville... I was happy it ran!!!! Needs to be gone through, think im going to pull it all apart and repaint the frame and polish EVERYTHING.
