also. if someone else DID do it. why did they do it to THIS site. or if they did it to multiple sites, he would be catching heat from them to and he would have mentioned that.
i vote that he just wanted to see if he could do it. it was EARLY morning correct. a time when the least amount of users are on. he also admits that he works nights and sleeps days. not sure what time he works or when the attacks happened but u catch my drift.
if he did it and its proven in court he did it. his reason would probably be he did it out of curiousity.....but the judge will reply" what happens when you become curious of the FBI, CIA, banking, etc."

Then how do you explain it? There could only be 3 explanations.
#1 he shares the same local ip address with another user who visits hmt... the likelihood of that is prolly 1:billions
#2 someone spoofed his ip which is a major pain in the *** and alot of work for a dos attack
#3 he did it becuase we bash on emo kids all the time or something just as gay
