If server usage isnt a concern to you, I would still switch software for the user interface. It really does make a world of difference with new traffic. Done properly, the search engines could bring in a lot

Time to put the webmaster to work, eh?
go to any search engine on the web, type homemadeturbo

and it comes up. there are always meta things in place for engines to pull up...

I wouldnt want to freak dr.boost out, ---- he about crapped his pants from yabb to smf.

I'm really use to this interface, and plus we already have lots of time in configuring it the way we want.

SEO is way more than that. If someone searches for HMT, they obviously know what the website is. If you're trying to draw in more traffic, you would want relevant search terms like, "Turbo Honda", etc... For example, one VW forum owner I know who heavily invested his time into SEO was ranking super well for terms like, "Jetta BOV." So people who searched for modifications for their VWs would come across his forum.

I could give endless examples of websites I've worked on and know about. I'm just saying that if you guys are tight on money, the website can generate revenue outside of sponsors and donations to keep it up.

The current amount of sponsers and donations are enough to keep this website running just fine. As long as no money is coming out of my pocket to run this website and the jew deals/hook ups I get from the sponsers and other members keeps happening its well worthwhile to me.
