ummm you should be able to call your cell phone company and tell them your phone got stolen and you need it tracked!

In a lot of cases, Cell phone companies will not comply with police unless there is a court order... They do it for the protection of their customers privacy. And theres no way a judge will give the ok just for a stolen cell phone. Get insurance... 50 dollars is a lot cheaper than a court ordeal.

not really i had douche bag's calling me at 3am for a week, so i asked my mobile phone provider which is Rogers here i think it equivalent to t-mobile, i asked them to track that unknown number and they told me they cant it's illegal, seems to me everything in canada is illegal, so long story short they told me to contact the police,i did contact the police, they did a police report, then never heard from them again, so i called Roger's again they told me the police needs to bring them a report, with the judges authorisation which is like a warant to open their logs and check who was calling me...complete crap,after about 1 week of sleepless nights i shut my phone off..
