My buddy has a 2000 Z28. Holy ---- that thing is fast.

But let me tell you the ONE draw back to them. Installing longtube headers sucks ***. Took us a long time, and there's not a lot of room under there.

Not only that, the Camero is like brand new with 12,000 miles compared to 34,000, a year newer, and a convertable which makes it more expensive......and faster.

parts for fords are way more expensive than chevy,but i like fords better. cobras come with like 390 hp stock thats not a bad place to start from

I do think so. It's VERY possible. My buddy is looking for 12.4's with some Nitto 555's, long tubes, bullet mufflers and a new intake manifold. I think there's a few more parts he could bolt on to make up that .5 of a second. Very little weight reduction too.

usually convertibles are heavier
